Punks in 2021 Tokyo look very different from US hippies in the 70's. We will explore this wondrous variety of self expression throughout the world and the ages. We will discuss the cultural and historical significance of certain types of dress. Then, students will use this as inspiration to sketch out their own fashion collection. The question they will be asked is, if you lived at that time, and dressed in that style, what would your outfits look like?
