If the student has a hard time with more than half of these problems, they should start out in the Multiplication & Division level of Math.  If they don’t know any of the questions with ease, they should also complete the Addition & Subtraction test above to see if they’ve mastered all those skills and if not, they should start out in Addition & Subtraction level.

Decimals, %, and Fractions Math Placement Test

If the student has a hard time with more than half of these problems, they should start out in the Decimals, % and fractions level of Math.  If they don’t know any of the questions with ease, they should also complete the Multiplication & Division test above to see if they’ve mastered all those skills and if not, they should try the Multiplication & Division test and if they don’t have all those concepts mastered, they need to start in Multiplication & Division.

Integers & Pre-Algebra Math Placement Test

If the student has a hard time with more than half of these problems, they need to start out in the Integers & Pre-Algebra level of Math.  If they don’t know any of the questions with ease, they should also complete the Decimals, % and fractions test above to see if they’ve mastered all those skills and if not, they should try the Multiplication & Division test and if they don’t have all those concepts mastered, they need to start in Multiplication & Division.  If they can easily complete the Pre-Algebra test, they should be ready for Algebra 1.
