Travel around the world and back in time! Taking the popular Where Is? book series as inspiration, we will journey to different places including the Galapagos Islands, the Berlin Wall, the Congo, The Great Barrier Reef, Antarctica and the Kremlin. In addition to reading passages from the books and writing down facts we’ve learned, students will do fun hands-on activities and geography games to provide a greater appreciation for and deeper understanding of these extraordinary places. 

PREREQUISITE: Student must be able to read and write independently in order to be enrolled in this class.

HOMEWORK: Short, weekly writing assignments based on the place we’re studying.
