It’s the time of year to start thinking about used curriculum sales, one of my favorite places to visit!
Used sales are just wonderful, because buyers can acquire curriculum at a fraction of the cost. Not only does it save money, but it is recycling books, which is good for our environment, so it’s a win-win for everyone. It is sometimes even just good to go and look at curriculum which you are considering to buy in order to make sure you actually want it. There are usually a ton of games and other hands-on teaching materials available as well. Many times you will even find a pile of free items!
There will be several again this year and I’ll be writing more articles about these as I find out about more of them, so please feel free to let me know if you know of any.
The details of the 2 that are set already at the moment follow below:
Saturday, June 15, 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Grace Community Church,
13248 Roscoe Blvd., Sun Valley 91352
Saturday and Sunday, August 3 & 4th, 12:00pm – 5:00pm at Learn Beyond The Book, 21704 Golden Triangle Road #410, Santa Clarita, CA 91390
Both of these events are open to any homeschoolers (for buying and selling) and is completely free to attend as a buyer, but require sellers to sign up ahead of time, so that adequate space can be secured. The Grace Community Church seller sign-up is required by May 31 and the Learn Beyond The Book sign-up deadline is July 15.
Here are the links to the forms that need to be submitted for registration to be a seller at these sales:
