SEW MANY STITCHES: EMBROIDERY, KNITTING and CROCHET

Sewing by hand, knitting and crochet are mediums of expression of the Will. There are few practices more satisfying than making something you can wear or play with. Sewing a project that requires no electricity to power a child’s imagination gives them the confidence to make many things possible in life.  In this class we will learn:    The safe way to handle sewing needles and crochet hooks, different stitches, how to use sewing patterns. How to embroider. We will learn to weave, finger knit and  crochet and create fun and beautiful things to wear and play with!

This semester we will divide our adventures as follows:

SEPTEMBER: Sewing project.

OCTOBER: Crochet project.

NOVEMBER: Finger Knitting/Weaving project.

DEC/JAN: Embroidery project.
