Come learn about the basics of Poetry and Creative Writing in a fun and caring environment with lots of fun activities sprinkled in the mix. Create your own Poetry book that will be filled with wonderful words by the end of the semester. With Marie as the amazing teacher, there will also be a lot of art sprinkled in with the projects. A basic grasp of writing is preferred. Because this is a creative class where we want children to feel the joy of writing without constraints, I will NOT be correcting spelling unless the children ask me to. I always encourage writing first, with abandon… then learning the spelling and grammar as you write and learn from your mistakes.
