Join us for a hands-on adventure in ceramic art. We will play with clay and other sculptural materials while learning how to use a variety of small hand tools along the way. This is a great class for active kids who like to bang, squish and poke. I’ll provide a nice invitation to make with fresh materials, rotating tools and occasional props that encourage dramatic play. This class is a retreat from “assigned” art projects. We will learn about process and materials but the outcome is entirely up to each student. Improvisation and spontaneity in making are always encouraged.
