Come learn some real-life skills as we explore what goes on in a community through play. One week we will design a town and then build it with boxes, paint & decorate it, and play pretend living and working there, another day we will be going shopping and learn all about consumer math, all the while exploring different occupations with visiting community workers like a firefighter, a police officer, a nurse, and so many more. We will also play some cooperative games each week. This class will involve a lot of unstructured but supervised play time as well. It’s the perfect class for those who are trying to make some new friends and hang out with existing friends.
