Join us as we learn about music theory, rhythm skills, and reading rhythm and pitch notation using fun games and activities. Students will be playing recorders, handbells, and various percussion instruments.

In addition, learners have the opportunity to enhance their vocal skills as they select songs of personal interest to be accompanied by the instructor on the flute.

As class progresses, students will even learn basic conducting techniques and create their own original musical compositions that can be presented at the final performance!

Our teacher, Amy Ninio, has been playing the flute for over 30 years, delighting in making music with children. She studied music at the University of Indiana, attending classes, concerts, and lectures with world renowned musicians.

We have a few recorders to rent out or  you can buy your own to keep.
