Are you curious about human history? Inventions? What about how the geographic locations that have helped encapsulate cultures and ideas? Social Studies provides a foundation for fundamental concepts in understanding events, behaviors, political structures, human migration, and so much more. In this course, we will explore the concepts from history, government, economics, civics, sociology, geography, and anthropology with the interest of the enrolled students used as a guide along our journey through history.
We will explore questions such as What is history? Why is it important? What can we do with it? What is your history? What significant events led to where you are today? What can you learn from the past?
