Middle Ages Art & Holiday Crafts (5-8yo.)

Join us in the exciting exploration of Art in the Middle Ages and Renaissance and also celebrating all the different Holidays coming up, like Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter and more!

Art during the Middle Ages saw many changes and the emergence of the early Renaissance period. Byzantine Art was the name given to the style of art used in very early Middle Ages Art. This period was also known as the Dark Ages ( 410 AD – 1066 AD).

The Dark Ages were followed by the Medieval era of the Middle Ages (1066 – 1485) and changes in Middle Ages Art which saw the emergence of the early Renaissance Art (which we plan to study next semester).

We will be studying known and unknown artists and creating our own inspired pieces using high quality art materials and mediums for the Middle Ages in the first semester and the Renaissance in the second semester.
