bring us unhappiness in real life. This class uses clips from various stories to highlight unhealthy attitudes and patterns of relating and focuses on healthier strategies. We’ll focus on research-based communication and relationship strategies that work, healthy personal habits and attitudes, and more to learn about what goes into healthy friendships and relationships of all kinds. And we’ll make it fun with:

Improv Games
Creative Writing
Questionnaires and Journaling
In-Class Discussions
Movie and T.V. Clips, and more!

This is a great class for those who want to learn healthy personal and relationship habits, practice these skills, get into interesting discussions, build writing skills in an interesting way, focus on personal growth, and have fun with other teens. Talk to us if you would like to take this class for credit as a high school elective.

About the Teacher:
Lizzie Scott is an author, teacher, trained counselor, wellness coach, and mother who has worked with kids for many years and knows what helps them grow as students and as people. She is working on her doctoral dissertation in Psychology and has taught and coached these skills for years and loves supporting people of all ages to become their best selves.
