Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince is the 6th installment in the series and we will read this book throughout the semester in our free time between classes. When we meet on Zoom each week, we will discuss the themes, characters, ideas, beliefs, and structure of the story. Toward the end of the class, we are all assigned the movie to watch and we will spend a class talking about the differences and similarities in the book and the film. Each week there will be Harry Potter themed games, trivia, art, crafts, and conversations. Each week will also cover an important language arts study in vocabulary, spelling, grammar, usage, and writing.
