HAWKs is a year-round enrichment and day camp program designed to encourage children’s sense of wonder about the planet and instill a deep sense of connection to the outdoors. \nJoin us for a day of exploration in Griffith Park on 4/12 from 10am-4pm. Activities vary by day\, environment and group interest\, but include hiking\, herping\, bird watching\, journaling\, nature crafts (dream catchers\, mandalas\, seed bombs\, insect hotels)\, nature-focused games\, foraging\, and more! \nIdeal for ages 5-12\, parents attend for free. Please make a note of ages of RSVPs and don’t include the parent in the number.\nThis fieldtrip requires a minimum. \nIf time permits and people want to\, we can visit the observatory in Griffith Park after the Hawks event.
