Parking is also found at the Balboa Pier Municipal Parking Lot located at 1 Balboa Pier Newport Beach\, CA. 92661. The cost for parking is approximately $2.50 an hour. We suggest arriving one hour prior to your scheduled departure to allow time to park and check in\, but at least be there by 11:15 am. SUMMARY:Camping Trip at Carpinteria State Beach
DESCRIPTION:Come camp with other homeschoolers on the group sites in the Santa Cruz loop. You will be steps from the beach and walking distance from the cute town of Carpinteria where you can find great restaurants\, antiques\, or go thrifting. You will be about 15 minutes from Santa Barbara Zoo and other Santa Barbara attractions. There is also the seal sanctuary in Carpinteria and tar pits to visit. One of the great things at this site is that there are flushing toilets and warm showers available. Whether you’ve never camped or you’re a veteran camper\, this is a very relaxing time of just hanging out on the beach or doing whatever you feel like on that day. \nThe cost of $175 per family for the 4 nights includes your first vehicle’s parking. If you’re charged at the gate\, just let me know and I’ll reimburse you. Currently\, there are 2 RV spots left and the rest are tent spots. There are no hookups for the RVs but you can use a generator during the day to charge things. Can’t wait to camp with you!

DESCRIPTION:This class will be on a farm in Agua Dulce.\nCome learn the basics of animal training through chicken agility from an animal trainer with 20 years experience and her daughter (with a Guinness World Record in Chicken Agility)!! This class will give you the incredible opportunity to learn clicker and target training with adorable bantam chickens. Through the 4 day course you will first be introduced to chickens that have already been trained to play instruments and run through a small agility course. Once you’ve mastered working with the trained chicken\, you will be able to train a new chicken. All the chickens are bantams (miniature) and are under 2 pounds so they are super cute and easy to handle.\nAges: 10 years and up and be very comfortable and passionate about handling and working with animals. This is not the class to get over your fear of birds.

DESCRIPTION:Wanna go on a whale-watching excursion? Here is your chance! \nTours are 2.5 hours in length\, and there are whales and dolphins to be seen year-round! The boat leaves at 12:00\, so please arrive at least by 11:15 to park and check in 11:30am at Davey’s Locker.\nCost $22.00 (children under 2 – $5) \nHere is a recent YouTube video showing a student field trip: https://youtu.be/yL0ZeLFGcjA \nPlease read carefully: The best parking location is the Beach Municipal Parking Lot\, (the lower area highlighted in green on the map)\, which allows for hourly and all-day parking. Parking: October-April is $1.20 per hour with a $18 daily maximum. Parking is also found at the Balboa Pier Municipal Parking Lot located at 1 Balboa Pier Newport Beach\, CA. 92661. The cost for parking is approximately $2.50 an hour. We suggest arriving one hour prior to your scheduled departure to allow time to park and check in\, but at least be there by 11:30am.
