A wild and beautiful world exists outside of the classroom and this class is all about exploring it through nature and finding out its functions! This class will introduce your child to gardening as a way to increase their awareness of where food comes from and the importance of taking care of the earth in small and big ways in our everyday lives. Each class will be filled with activities and learning about, seed saving, plant potting, regrowing plants from scraps or cuttings, composting, soil types, foraging, fairies, worm farms, plant identification, and more! Gardening can offer the opportunity to learn the life cycle process by which plants and food grow as well as responsibility and caretaking of the plants and our planet.

Your child will explore the wonders of our natural world to learn new skills that not only benefit the earth and the environment but their own health and wellness as well!
