In this class we will go over the basics of drawing, value, and how to incorporate that into a painting. We will learn the elements of art through projects that allow students to embrace their creativity and demonstrate their new capabilities. We will learn the elements of color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value as well as painting and drawing techniques to help students use those elements on the page. Students will learn through guided projects that still allow them to express their creativity while learning about an element of art.
