Graphic Novels are one of my favorite mediums!  The writing, the art, the color, and the dynamic movement make them a great way to engage students in reading.  This time, we will be studying different stories to bring awareness in inclusion, diversity, and respect to all cultures. When we awake to help one another and treat each other as equals, the entire Human race advances to offer a better World to all of us, in this country and all other countries on Earth. My goal is to talk about tolerance, respecting everyone’s ideas and beliefs, and making a safe space to explore racial, cultural, and social topics. There are about six or seven novels per semester, and  I will send the list of books to be purchased.
