This class will encourage physical fitness through stretching and jazz dance techniques. Movement concepts, body management, locomotor movement, manipulative skills, rhythmic skills, fitness concepts, muscular strength, and flexibility will be encouraged in a fun and upbeat environment. Students will be taught stretching techniques and forms along with dance steps and techniques. On the last day of class a short routine will be performed for family and friends during the designated class time.
Jazz shoes are recommended but not required.
