A historical overview of the principal religious traditions of the world, concentrating on Hinduism and Buddhism, Confucianism and Daoism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. There is also many other smaller religions to study. Come see the world from another’s eyes as you consider how the world might be different seen through the lens of a specific religion.
Considers origins, principal beliefs and practices, and contemporary issues.
In the Spring there will be a companion to a college course taught by Erin Donovan to get college credits in the Humanities section of the IGETC.
