In this class, each student will make a cubic foot of biodynamic farm.

We will look at what is in the soil, what it has too much of, what it needs. We will look at the needs of various different kinds of plants, find and learn how to utilize internet and personal resources to find the information we need, build hypertoufa troughs, make watering systems, bio-teas, learn French double digging and organic layering techniques to make and keep good soil, composting techniques, worm farming and more. The project will start off with building the hardscape, managing irrigation, and finish up with a complete garden of spring time veggies and fruit.
