This sewing course is for beginner sewers.  Mini projects such as paper tapestries will allow your students to understand how fabrics are woven together.  Lessons include vocabulary, fractions, and math formulas for patterning. Organizational skills and project planning will be recorded in planner pages for you to review with your child.  Your student will practice hand-sewing and learn to use tools and sewing equipment.  Some projects will take more than one week to complete.  Projects include book covers, potholders, notebook cases and so much more.  This class is for both boys and girls.  Class projects will be gender neutral or have feminine and masculine alternatives.
