This class for the very youngest who will cover phonemic awareness, learn letters, practice how to write them, and start working on phonics with short vowels and progressing to learning different sounds, even blending some words by the end of the semester, plus do reading comprehension through decodable books and children’s literature.  Each class will consist of fun and engaging mini lessons and games in each area (phonemic awareness, phonics, reading, and comprehension) and will motivate your child to develop a lifetime love of reading!
