Relate to Famous Classic Artists

With this class students are going to learn about some of the world’s most famous art masters like Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Juan Miro, Andy Warhol and many more.

To get a great understanding about the different artists, their artwork and era, a slide show will be shown in the beginning of each class where the students will learn about the artists’ history and watch a variety of their artwork.

Students will not only get a great understanding of our classic artists but also achieve great painting skills while learning about different art media, tools and techniques.

For each lesson students will create a piece of art reflecting one of the artists or the era. We will mainly work with non washable acrylic paint, so make sure to wear clothes that can get stained, or bring an old t-shirt to pull on.
