Art Appreciation & Creative Writing 10+yo.
1 Semester
100 Cans of Campbell’s Soup, Whistler’s Mother, Midsummer Eve…few would fail to recognize these famous works of art, but how many could actually retell the fascinating stories behind them or write a creative story about it themselves?
In this truly creative semester-long class, students will be introduced to various, notable artworks, around which they will create their own, uniquely inspired short stories. After a time of sharing their ideas about each piece, students will then learn the true history behind the artwork! There will not be any homework involved.
