We will travel the globe and go back in time to explore the man-made wonders of the ancient world! Through stories, art and other hands on activities, we will learn about icons of world culture that will include the pyramids of Egypt, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and Newgrange of Ireland. In addition to learning about the architecture of the monument, students will also learn about its geography, and the civilization who built and used it. Our subject matter will often make connections with the Historium class which is being offered for the older grades.
