Thoreau, Emerson and Alcott -The American Renaissance – History and Literature

Join us as we take a journey to Concord, Massachusetts home of the American Renaissance. In this beautiful New England town,  authors, poets, and naturalists lived side by side and were in full bloom.  We will study the lives and works of Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Louisa May Alcott and more by utilizing antique books, videos, discussion, crafts and written exercises.

We will also find out what each student is interested in and incorporate those individual interests into our classes during the semester.

Ages: 11+ yo.
